Joe De Quattro is an American fiction writer whose short stories have been published in or are forthcoming in Beloit Fiction Journal, Adelaide Literary Magazine, Mystery Tribune, The Los Angeles Review, The Carolina Quarterly, Five2One Magazine, Pennsylvania Literary Journal, Turnrow and Carve. His first story publication, "Angus in Extremis", which appeared in the now defunct San Francisco based Oyster Boy Review, was nominated for a Pushcart Prize. In 2015, Joyce Carol Oates selected his story, "What Things, These Things, Stir the Heart", as a finalist for december magazine's Curt Johnson Fiction Award. He has an MFA in Fiction from Bennington College, and has taught writing at Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, CA, and at Suffolk University in Boston, MA.
