Scott Saul, Professor of English, will be the featured writer in the Fall 2021 Berkeley Writers at Work Series.
Professor Saul is the author of Becoming Richard Pryor (HarperCollins 2014), and
Freedom Is, Freedom Ain’t: Jazz and the Making of the Sixties (Harvard University Press,
2003). His writing also appears in Harper’s Magazine, The Nation, Book Forum, and other
publications.
