Bio:
Michael Larkin has an M.F.A. in fiction writing from the University of Pittsburgh, and a bachelor's degree from UC Berkeley. He teaches courses in reading and composition and creative writing and is the former co-curator of the annual UC Berkeley Summer Reading List for New Students (check it out for great reading recommendations!)
His fiction and nonfiction have been nominated for Pushcart Prizes; have been featured as "Notable Reading" in the Best American Essays and the Best American Nonrequired Reading series; and have appeared in publications such as Harvard Review, The Missouri Review, Arroyo Literary Review, Cimarron Review, and Writing on the Edge, among others.
