S.C. Bobo has a Ph.D. in British and American Literature from Boston University and has been teaching at the university level for over thirty years. She has taught at Berkeley since 1989 and has been teaching in College Writing Programs since it was established in 1993. In addition to teaching College Writing R4B and R1A, she has taught aan advanced writing class focused on social media. She has taught business writing at the graduate level at Haas and at St. Mary’s. She writes fiction and poetry. Her work has won awards from The Black Warrior Review and The Missouri Review and has also appeared in Crazy Horse, Kitchen Sink, The Long Story, and The Altar Collective.
