  • Many courses have multiple levels to meet student target goals, backgrounds, and proficiency.

Courses provide the opportunity to improve and refine the language and communication skills needed for study in the U.S. Topics covered include

  • U.S. university expectations and admissions processes
  • the grammar and vocabulary necessary for general and discipline-specific university courses
  • argument analysis, research, and writing for university success
  • source-based research and writing for discipline-specific courses
  • formal oral presentations and informal discussions in academic settings
  • skills and strategies for exam-taking
  • content-rich, engaging projects on hot topics
