Guest Speaker
Dana Ferris is Professor of English at California State University, Sacramento, where she teaches MA TESOL, linguistics, and multilingual writing courses and serves as the ESL (Multilingual) Writing Coordinator. Her books include Response to Student Writing: Implications for Second Language Students (2003); Treatment of Error in Second Language Writing Classes (2002), and Teaching ESL Composition: Purpose, Process, and Practice (2nd Ed., with John Hedgcock, 2005).
Symposium Schedule
The symposium is divided into morning and afternoon sessions, each containing a short presentation followed by working groups, giving participants time to discuss and collaborate with colleagues from colleges and universities throughout northern California. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided to registered participants.
