On Monday, May 2, College Writing Programs featured its fourth Research Festival for R4B students. Hosted by ETS in their expansive new Academic Innovation Studio, the Festival showcased the work of 162 speakers in 5 rounds from 12 sections!
Over the course of two hours, students spoke about their research findings in 20 minute sessions, acted as thoughtful respondents, and had a wide range of discussions about the interesting work happening across a huge variety of research projects.
In addition, the event will now be called the College Writing Programs' Chiang Research Festival, after our wonderful colleague Sim Chiang, whose vision for this event helped make it a reality--one that has succeeded so well, it's now going to be a permanent capstone for all College Writing research classes every semester.
